Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about your Egypt adventure

Is the Egypt visa included in the package price?

The tourist visa fee is not included in the package price, however we provide complete visa facilitation upon arrival. Our representative will meet you at Cairo Airport and assist you through the visa process and immigration formalities. The visa fee (approximately $25) is paid directly at the airport.

What is the physical fitness level required?

Moderate fitness is recommended. The tour involves walking on uneven surfaces at archaeological sites, climbing steps in temples, and walking through narrow tomb corridors in the Valley of the Kings. The pyramids area involves walking on sand. However, the pace is relaxed with rest periods, and our guides accommodate all fitness levels.

Can I customize this itinerary or add extra nights?

Yes! We can arrange pre-tour or post-tour extensions in Cairo, beach stays in Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, or additional nights in Luxor. The Abu Simbel excursion from Aswan can be added by flight or road convoy. Contact us for customization options and supplementary costs.

What should I pack for this trip?

Comfortable walking shoes with good grip (essential), lightweight cotton clothing (modest dress recommended for religious sites), hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, light jacket for cool evenings (November-February), formal attire for farewell dinner on cruise, and photocopies of your passport. Don’t forget your camera with extra memory cards!

Is it safe to travel to Egypt from Pakistan?

Yes, Egypt is generally safe for tourists. The tourist areas (Cairo, Luxor, Aswan) are heavily secured and protected. Our tours use reputable hotels and cruise lines with excellent safety records. We provide 24/7 local support and our guides are trained to ensure your safety. Travel insurance is mandatory for all passengers.

What currency should I bring?

We recommend bringing USD (US Dollars) in cash – small denominations ($1, $5, $10, $20) are ideal for tips and small purchases. Euros are also accepted. Credit cards are accepted at most hotels and larger shops, but cash is preferred at bazaars and for tips. ATMs are available at hotels and airports.
